Sacrifice & Sacrament: Exploring Our Christian and Anglican Heritage in England with St. Albans Episcopal Church of Davidson, NC

June 15-22, 2026

ABOUT

As Episcopalians, we trace our spiritual roots across the Atlantic Ocean to England, where Christianity has a rich yet complicated history that includes sacrifice and courage, failure and triumph, schism and reconciliation, and a beautiful tradition of sacramental and prayerful worship. This pilgrimage in June of 2026 will take us to England to explore our spiritual ancestry in the birthplace of English Christianity and Anglicanism. Highlights include time spent at Southwark Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Coventry Cathedral, and more, with the pilgrimage culminating in the celebration of the Feast of Saint Alban the Martyr at St Alban’s Cathedral, including a parade, Eucharist, and local festival. Pilgrims can expect to return home with a deeper appreciation for our Anglican heritage, a stronger connection to Alban, our parish’s patron saint, and a renewed faith in Jesus Christ, not to mention closer relationships with one another. Itinerary is representative and is subject to change based on guide and site availability.

*Pilgrims may choose to arrive early or stay longer to explore London or beyond on your own.
