ABOUT
Pilgrims have been walking the Camino de Santiago for more than 1000 years, seeking to commune with the divine in the traditional burial place of James, the apostle of Jesus. Today, pilgrims still trace these routes to connect with God and their own spirits. This 12-day journey offers participants the opportunity to walk over 140km (88 miles) of the Portuguese Camino de Santiago, earning their pilgrim passport and certificate of completion. The Portuguese coastal route offers more solitude, rugged coastal beauty, and charming seaside villages. For each walking day, luggage transport is included so pilgrims can walk with only a daypack. This pilgrimage will also be supported with a private coach for mid-walk check-ins and to support travelers who may be struggling with the day’s walk. A spiritual guide from Progressive Pilgrimage will also join your group to provide both spiritual and logistical support. Breakfast is included daily, along with ten dinners. Additional dinners and all lunches are at your own expense. This itinerary offers a glance at what you can expect in your 12-day pilgrimage.
