This fifteen-day pilgrimage spans religious and cultural sites, exploring the rich history of the Reformation. Travelers have the option of beginning in Geneva, where John Calvin preached and mentored John Knox who took the Reformation back to Scotland. In Geneva, we’ll visit the World Council of Churches, dive into the rich history of the Reformation movement at the Museum of the Reformation, and stroll through St. Pierre’s Cathedral and the Reformation Wall. The story continues in Edinburgh, with John Knox and the Scottish Reformation. In Glasgow, we’ll connect with the Iona Community and explore Govan Church and the city’s vibrant center. We’ll then head to St. Andrews, the ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral, and the intriguing St. Andrew’s Castle and onward to the enchanting Isle of Iona. Explore the historic Iona Abbey, Nunnery and Abbey. Enjoy free time to take a nature walk, or enjoy a boat tour to Staffa Island. Our pilgrimage concludes in Dublin, where we’ll admire the Book of Kells and other stunning illuminated Celtic manuscripts in the Chester Beatty Library. Wrap up our pilgrimage with a delightful evening of traditional Celtic music and dance.
