Rabbis for Human Rights

Rabbis for Human Rights is a rabbinic organization in Israel dedicated to protecting human rights in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. All of their members are citizens of Israel and rabbis ordained in the Orthodox, Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist, and Renewal movements of Judaism. They are motivated by their religious conviction that all men and women are created in God’s image and that it is their responsibility, as Jews, to make sure justice is carried out for all people in the land of Israel and the Palestinian territories.

Rabbis for Human Rights offers high quality, informative tours of Arab East Jerusalem, Bedouin villages in the Negev, Arab communities in the Hebron area, and more. The tours provide insight into the complexities of modern Israel and the struggles that non-Jews face. A tour of East Jerusalem lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is a meaningful opportunity to connect with local residents.
