ABOUT
Pilgrims have been walking the Camino de Santiago for more than 1000 years, seeking to commune with the divine in the traditional burial place of James, the apostle of Jesus. Today, pilgrims still trace these routes to connect with God and their own soul. This 12-day journey will be led by Rev. Jon Owens of Christ Episcopal in Sausalito, CA and Rev. Heather Prince Doss of Progressive Pilgrimage. It offers pilgrims the opportunity to walk 100km of the Camino de Santiago, earning their pilgrim passport and certificate of completion. In addition, you’ll take in the highlights of Barcelona and have the option to spend time in Madrid at the end of the pilgrimage. This itinerary offers a glance at what you can expect in your 12-day pilgrimage. For each walking day, luggage transport is included. The pilgrimage will be self-guided with 24/7 emergency support.
